This man touched me so much. He was bent over, walking difficultly with a cane, was hard of hearing. We stopped him and talked with him, asked if we could pray for him? He said yes, the younger family member who was with him had just said a quiet prayed under her breath to God, I wish someone would pray for D. Just a half block later, we approached and felt compelled to pray for him. He felt the presence of God as we prayed and was able to stand straighter which he testified, was improvement, he'd not been able to do that for quite some time! Then the Holy Spirit fell again on us. I began to tear up and feel God's compassion for D. I told D. what I was hearing the Lord say, "he had persevered under many hard trials, and didn't complain....." he choked up, his family member too. The the Lord put it on my heart to ask D. if he would pray over each of the young men who'd just prayed for him. An impartation of sorts that they would have the strength of character he had...D. prayed and it was awesome!
